Deposits


To add a deposit to an owner’s account, please follow the steps below.

  1. Display the owner’s account by selecting the owner from the Main list and click on the Account tab.

  2. Display the owner’s account by selecting the owner from the Main list and click on the Account tab.

  3. Click the Payment button.

  4. Enter the Type of payment received and the Purpose.

  5. Type in the explanation of the payment if desired in the Comment Field and click OK.

The deposit recorded will be displayed on the check out screen as a previous balance. Plane will calculate and display the total charges for the pet's stay, a previous balance (the deposit), and the total due including the deposit.  If you desire not to use the deposit at that time, collect the balance of the total charges and the deposit will stay as a credit on the owner's account.
